The Secretary for Health, Ko Wing-man, says Hong Kong doesn't need to upgrade its response level to the novel coronavirus, even though three more cases have been confirmed in the Middle East.Dr Ko said the Centre for Health Protection is closely monitoring the situation and is liaising with the World Health Organisation. Nonetheless, he urged people to remain on their guard.
Two people are now known to have died from the SARS-like virus in Jordan and another infection was found in Saudi Arabia, bringing the total number of confirmed cases to nine.
