In Brandenburg district Märkisch Oderland the virus of avian influenza H5N1 was detected, such as the Ministry of Environment, Health and Consumer Protection (MUGV) Brandenburg tells. Affected is a duck fattening. The tests for the presence of the virus had been introduced after self-monitoring of the operation contained indications that the virus in the operatingcould rife. However, the animals showed no clinical abnormalities. As further reported by the Ministry, a crisis center has been set up to coordinate further action at the country level. Still need to determine the pathogenicity of the virus.This is done at the time of the Friedrich-Loeffler-Institute (FLI). The results are expected today.
