Cambodia to 7 cases of H5N1 virus



(VOV) - A 4-year-old girl in Cambodia has recently been diagnosed with the H5N1 flu. This is the 7th flu cases in the country since the start of 2013.

Dr. Denis Laurent, deputy director of the Institute of Kantha Bopha Children (Cambodia) said that the victim was in the province of Kampot, Cambodia to the southwest, was hospitalized in Phnom Penh hospital treatment from the 4th week. Is the victim of danger and recovering health.
This year, Cambodia to 5 deaths out of a total of 7 H5N1 flu. As such, this is the worst outbreak since the first cases of influenza in the country in 2004.
So far, Cambodia has confirmed 28 cases of infection, including 24 deaths.
